Is it dangerous to install Google Chrome Extensions?

Like will I get viruses/malware/spyware?|||Yes very dangerous|||Well, not necessarily. But you have to make sure that the web page is starting with https://


The final s at http means it is secure. To get the extensions in Google Chrome go to the gallery: Wrench, Tools, Extensions, click on the hyperlink 'browse the gallery': https://chrome.google.com/extensions?hl=鈥?/a>


Make sure the extensions in the Gallery are followed by a green tick + "Verified author: google.com."
