Latest version of Google chomr and extensions?

I am trying to download an extension for google chrome, more specifically the drag n go extension which allows you to open a new tab without right clicking. However, i cant seem to find the extension, and also read that it is only compatible with version v4.0.249.43. Do i need this latest version, and where can i find the extension?? and help would be great.|||You know you can open a new tab by middle clicking the link, right?
