in Chrome's omnibox (where you type web addresses and search) just type:
chrome://extensions/
the extensions page will open. on this page you can enable/disable and uninstall extensions
also there's a link on the page that says "get extensions". that will take you to the extensions website where you can install new stuff.
some extensions that you install will appear in a toolbar next to the chrome menu buttons
